THE HN HOLIDAY FUND

OUR COMMUNITY HELPING ITSELF

The HN Holiday Fund is an annual effort by people in our community for people in our community. A full 100 percent of donations to The HN Holiday Fund are divided between two local charities, Citizens for Citizens and the Salvation Army, both right here in Fall River and serving the Greater Fall River area.

The Herald News is teaming with the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry on this year’s Holiday Fund, and urging businesses across the SouthCoast to join the effort. We urge businesses to support their local community by donating, in any way they can, to The HN Holiday Fund.

As always, we encourage and welcome donations from community groups and agencies, along with schools, clubs, families and individuals. If you’d like more information about how to give or to highlight your group through giving, please contact Editor-in-chief Lisa Strattan at 508-676-2534 or editor@heraldnews.com

DONATE ONLINE OR BY U.S. MAIL

Also incorporated into The HN Holiday Fund are a toy drive and a food drive. The Herald News accepts new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items. This year, The Herald News is joining the United Way of Greater Fall River in asking community members to do everything they can to help meet emergency food needs.
