Helping Hands

How it Works

How it Works:

Between now and Dec. 31, The Enterprise will bring you stories about local people in need this holiday season.

The money you give will be used to help meet the needs of the people we write about and the needs of our neighbors who are struggling this holiday season.Local nonprofit organizations will send us letters applying for grants from the Helping Hands Fund. We will let you know through stories in the newspaper which agencies receive grants and how they are using the money to help folks in need.

Administrative costs for the fund are absorbed by The Enterprise, which means that all of the money raised goes directly to serve the needs of people in our cities and towns.Helping Hands accepts monetary donations only. We do not distribute money directly to individuals.

Helping Hands accepts monetary donations only.

We will publish the names of all contributors and the amount of their donations as an acknowledgement of their gifts. You may also make donations anonymously, or in memory of a loved one.

You may donate online with a credit card, by phone 24 hours a day by calling Ansaphone Inc. at 781-340-2028 or by mailing in a coupon with a check.

If you have any questions about Helping Hands, please call The Enterprise at 508-427-4023.
